Edenverse ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit edenverse.earth (the "Site") or subscribe to our newsletter.

2. Information We Collect

• Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter or The Codex editorial list
• First name — optionally provided during newsletter sign-up
• Contact form data — name, email, subject, and message when you reach out to us

Automatically Collected Information

• Usage data — pages visited, time on page, referring URLs, browser type, and device type, collected via Google Analytics (GA4)
• Cookies — session cookies and analytics cookies (see Section 7)
• IP address — collected automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel)
• Order information — when you buy a digital product, we receive your email address, the product purchased, and the amount and country of the sale from our reseller (see Section 5)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To send you newsletters, guides, and editorial content you subscribed to
• To respond to your contact form messages
• To improve and personalise the Site experience using analytics data
• To comply with legal obligations

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Email Marketing (Resend)

We use Resend to manage our mailing lists and send email. When you subscribe, your email address and (if you provide it) your first name are sent to Resend and stored on their servers in the United States.

Addresses collected on edenverse.earth are kept on their own Edenverse mailing list and are not merged with, or used to contact, subscribers from our separate children's book campaign.

5. Payments (Whop)

When you buy a digital product from us, the order is processed by our online reseller, Whop, which acts as Merchant of Record. You enter your payment details on their checkout, not on this Site.

To complete your order, our reseller collects information such as your name, email address, billing address and country, and payment details. They use this to take payment, send your receipt, deliver your download, and calculate any sales tax or VAT that applies.

We never see or store your full card details. What we receive is limited to order information such as your email address, the product purchased, and the amount and country of the sale, which we use to deliver your purchase, provide support, and keep our own records.

6. Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with the Site. GA4 collects anonymised usage data and may use cookies. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies (required for the Site to function) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, although some features of the Site may not work correctly.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CAN-SPAM)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Withdraw consent for email marketing at any time (via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us)

9. Data Retention

We retain your email address on our mailing list until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Analytics data is retained per Google's default retention settings (14 months).

The Site is served over HTTPS. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Links to Other Sites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
